As a D (Dominant), you thrive on Results, Action, and Challenge. To you, others with the i (Influence) style may seem:
- Social
- High Spirited
- Lively
- Talkative
The i is motivated by enthusiasm, action, and collaboration. They also share with you a faster PACE. The i however has a people PRIORITY as compared to the task PRIORITY of the D.

Today’s deeper dive blog is about the “I” (Influence / Influential). We know that the “I” is a faster, active PACE and a more people-oriented PRIORITY. I’d also like to add some other descriptors to your understanding here of the general “I” style: outgoing, enthusiastic, optimistic, high-spirited, lively. Along those lines, “I’s” are about 1) expressing enthusiasm 2) taking action, and 3) encouraging collaboration. Their motto: “Let’s Have Fun”.

The "I's" are the cheerleaders of our world. We want them and need them. They plan parties, engage in conversation with strangers, and add enthusiasm to our day. They are a faster PACE and People PRIORITY. This blog dives a little deeper into the makeup of an I and what makes them tick.
